Introduction
In this week, we learn how to pruning the crops. Basically, pruning is a process selective removal of plant parts, including branches, buds, leaves, blooms and roots. It can involve the removal of living, dying or dead plant parts. Removal of these weak parts helps to minimize the potential for secondary or opportunistic pests. It also helps to maximize the aesthetic qualities and overall vigor of the shrub or tree. We do pruning at oil palm tree. Pruning had two types to do the pruning which is manual way and use machine.
Objective:
- To control flowering and fruiting.
- To remove weak shoots.

- Sickle
- Glove
- Front trimming

- Go to Agrotech to attend a muster rocall
- Recitation of Asmaul Husna, Surah Al-Kahfi, Rabitah & Dhuha prayer and Qunut Nazilah
- Sing a National Anthem, Wawasan setia warga UiTM, and Planters Song
- Having briefing from the lecture about the task for this week.

- Prepare tools and equipment that we need.
- We move to oil palm plot.
- We start to do pruning.
- We try with the manual tool and modern tool (machine)

- Student take a break.

- Every class go to plot Angkat that was divide.
- Our class go to Nursery Plot which is our plot Angkat
- We do weeding at nursery plot.
