Seed Handling

Introduction 


     In this week, we do a seed handling. The purpose of seed handling is to seed viability. We do a seed handling with coffee beans. First, we push the coffee fruit to get the coffee beans. after that, we put  that seed in the water. That water was mixture with thiram. the function of the thiram is to stop the fungus from developing. After that, we put the seed to the soil which had been mixture with chicken dung. The function of the chicken dung i make the soil had more nutrient. After that, we collect the pot which had a coffee beans into the ground. We can see the result next week. 



Objective:



- Improves access to water and nutrients.

- Treatment for seeds seek to eradicate 

- Plant growth with healthier 

- To provide them with greater room to grow.

- Gloves 

- Poly bag

- Go to Agrotech to attend a muster rocall

- Recitation of Asmaul Husna, Surah Al-Kahfi, Rabitah & Dhuha prayer and Qunut Nazilah 

- Sing a National Anthem, Wawasan setia warga UiTM, and Planters Song

- Having briefing from the lecture about the task for this week.

- Move to nursery plot 

- Lecture give a briefing again how to do the seed handling

- We prepare equipment that we need. 

- Start doing the seed handling like push out the coffee beans from the fruit, mixture the water with thiram and soak the seed in that water.

- Wait for whole time

- Put the soil into the poly bag.
- Put that seed in put in the mixture soil at poly bag. 
- Collect the poly bag and arrange that polybag the ground.

- Drinks water and rest

- Remove weed at plants at the nursery. 
- Tidy up the nursery plot.

  WEEK 12 (Harvest) Name: Muhammad Naim Bin Azman Student ID: 2023188935 Introduction   This week our yield on plants was ripe. So this week is the best time to harvest our yield. So we use scissor to cut our yield and collect all yield at put it on front our planting bed area. After collect our yield, we weigh the yield. The yield that we harvest is long bean. After we weigh the yield, we bring that yield to sell it. After selling the yield, we give the money treasurer to save the money.       Challenge        Challenge for this week is not difficult our task is easy. We just need to harvest our yield and sell it. We sell it to the our lecturer, staff or food seller at cafe at our campus.
